International calendar and poster sales are AARPCV's largest fundraiser. Posters featuring photos from past calendars are now available. The poster set illustrates the basic
common needs that people share across the globe - the needs for food, water, housing, work and clothing. A set consists of
five different posters, 24" x 36".
Profits from calendar and poster sales support Peace Corps Partnership grants for current volunteers from Georgia serving overseas as Peace Corps Volunteers.
This year, AARPCV funded a project to supply English textbooks in Kyrgyzstan. In the past, AARPCV
has funded a variety of projects including latrines in Senegal and the Dominican Republic, acqueducts in Costa Rica,
a journalism project in Ukraine, and improvements to a Georgian orphanage, among others.
