Peace Corps: Serving Communities at Home and Abroad

A Peace Corps Expo presented by Peace Corps, National Peace Corps Association and Atlanta Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers

 

Connect, inform and engage with those whose lives have been influenced by the Peace Corps experience.  Discover new opportunities to serve the international and local communities. 

  We welcome all returned volunteers, prospective volunteers, family and friends of the Peace Corps, and anyone who is interested in learning more about the impact of the Peace Corps in communities both internationally and here at home.

Topic 1

The Impact of RPCVs on Healthcare and Development Organizations in Atlanta: A panel of representatives from organizations discussing the role/value of RPCVs in their organizations.

 

Topic 2

Sharing Your RPCV Experience With Those At Home: A "how-to" on speaking in classrooms, writing op-ed pieces and the Archival Project.

 

Topic 3

The Peace Corps Experience -- Shaping Lives and Careers: A panel of AARPCV members reflecting on their experience, how it affected their lives and shaped their careers.

 

3:00 – 5:00 pm:  Open House

Networking, visiting exhibits, “international” refreshments catered by Kroger.
