On the evening of March 12th, 13 recently-returned RPCVs joined 10 not-so-recently returned RPCVs for an AARPCV Networking
Event. The purpose
was to offer RPCVs who had been back for a year or less a chance to talk with professionals working in a variety of sectors.
Professionals representing education, non- and not-for profit, government (domestic and foreign), law, accounting, public
health, business, fundraising, and more gathered at the beautiful home of our gracious host, Amalia Stephens and offered sage
advice and reflections on their own professional development in a relaxed environment.
setting lent itself to enthusiastic conversations where newly-returned volunteers could seek out resources, make new connections,
and get some sound advice. It was a lively atmosphere with great conversations while new connections were made between Atlanta
RPCVs. AARPCV intends to continue holding professional development events to support new members in the future, so be on the
lookout for future opportunities!
