Mari Smith-Martinez, AARPCV member and Habitat for Humanity staff member, gave a presentation to help kick-off our renovation project.

Mari provided an overview of Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and discussed the process by which homeowners are selected for a Habitat home and the requirements they must fulfill, including sweat equity hours and educational classes among others. Mari provided information about the homeowner we will be working with, the impact of the sponsorship funds, and how our members can become involved in the renovation.
